On September 9, the School of Mechanical Engineering held a special guidance lecture on academic planning in the auditorium of Jiangsu University, which invited Zhang Liming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the School, to give a lecture, and was attended by all the students of the School of 2024 class.
In the lecture, Zhang Liming, secretary of the school, focused on the development of academic and career planning, meditation and hard work, reasonable distribution of time, improve research efficiency, enhance their comprehensive strength and other aspects of communication with students, guiding the new students to effectively do three changes, namely: role change, task change and attitude change, early integration into the new life of the university. He also put forward three requirements for the new students' studies: firstly, to complete the course tasks seriously and achieve continuous learning; secondly, to plan their studies and careers in advance and take every step in a practical way; thirdly, to expand the internationalization vision, and to be bold in questioning and innovating in scientific research. He hoped that students would grow up to become senior specialists with solid foundation in disciplines, fruitful scientific research results and responsibility, and make more contributions to the manufacturing of China.
